Regarding R&D applications, a kit for assaying PAP/REG3 for research use only, called PancrePAP, is also available from DYNABIO.

The PANCREPAP kit is used to assay human PAP/REG3 in biological samples like serum or plasma. Its principle is based on a sandwich immunoenzymatic system (ELISA). It contains all reagents for 96 PAP/REG3 assays and instructions for use. Its shelf life is 6 months.

The microtitration plate contains six 16-well bars, which can be used independently if a few assays have to be made at a time. 

Measuring PAP/REG3 level has shown an interest in various medical fields, described in the section called “Potential clinical applications”.
